PRENATAL MUSICAL WORKSHOPS
Music therapy is a scientific discipline that uses sound, which may or may not be music. It is applied from conception to advanced age. Music therapy has its goals and indications, employing clear and recognized techniques carried out by a trained music therapist. Mothers who have participated in this workshop concept become more perceptive to sound and consciously apply it during pregnancy.
We know that pregnancy is not an illness, but rather a state in which a woman should enjoy and prepare for her new role in the most beautiful, relaxed, and dignified way.
Prenatal music therapy aims to promote, establish, and strengthen the connection between the mother and her unborn baby, relax the mother, and enhance her adaptive capacities. It empowers the process of bonding with other family members, supports the learning process, and aids in the intrauterine development of the fetus. It also alleviates stressful periods and potential tension during pregnancy, and it can assist during the childbirth process as well as once the baby arrives in the world. The prenatal approach can be educational and/or clinical.
Did you know that babies can remember songs/sounds they were exposed to while in the womb?
A mother's voice is the most magnificent instrument that exists. The baby hears it, listens to it, feels the vibrations, and learns through it. Therefore, harness its power and connect more deeply by communicating with your baby even before birth. The baby is expecting it!
What to expect in the prenatal musical workshops - Sing me a lullaby while I'm still in the womb?
We go through various useful and applicable musical activities. We sing, play, relax, move, and we also compose a personalized song for the baby (Womb song)—that’s a truly special process. In addition to the practical aspects, you will receive a "dose" of theoretical knowledge so that you can integrate both theory and practice when we part ways
